1. All registrations are valid for the calendar year (Jan 1st to Dec 31st of each year) and must be renewed annually for a yearly renewal fee of $10 for residential and commercial locations. The yearly renewal shall be waived if the alarm location has no false alarms within the 12 month permit period.

Registrations can be transferred from one location to another or from one person to another person with the exception of transfer to an immediate family member.

Billing Type:

1. All Police false alarms will be accumulated and will be charged in the calendar year (Jan 1st to Dec 31st). False alarm counter will reset to zero on Jan 1st of each year.

All false alarm invoices will be due within 30 days from the invoice date.

Note : For locations identified as unregistered, PM AM will send the false alarm invoice (if applicable) and a notice providing the requirements for the registration of permit.

Note : Multiple false alarms within 24 hours period will be counted as one and will be charged for only 1 false alarm within the 24 hours period.

Appeal must be entitled "Appeal for Alarm Administrator's Action"

PM AM will forward all documents provided by the Alarm user to the City’s Police Alarm Administrator for review and appeal processing. The City’s Police Alarm Administrator will inform PM AM of any adjustments which need to be made on the account once the appeal decision has been completed.

PM AM will notify the citizen of the appeal decision through the available means of correspondence.

Alarm user has a right to appeal the Fire false alarm fine.

Appeal request must be submitted to PM AM in writing within 10 business days from the date of notification of such fine

All City, State, Federal buildings including but not limited to Public schools, parks etc. will not be charged for the annual registration/renewal fee for police alarm permit or will not be charged for false alarm fines.
